How long does the ''paint thinner'' smell of lubricant take to go away

My dorm room curtains had a problem opening closing so the maint. guys

decided that some sort of aerosol lubricant would be best.They spray

study here for most of the day.
The curtains are those vertical 
strips of hard plastic that you twist on to open and close.l believe they 
used some sort of silicone based lubricant as it was very thin and watery.

Large onions peeled and quartered stuck around the roon, close  
doory
as you can get them to the source of smell, it works well with fresh paint

It depends on three factors; what they used, what material you

have for curtains and the quality of ventilation you have.

I would try and find out what they used and read the directions for clean

Yea you should probably leave your room for a while and maybe

leave a window open to let it air out. You don't want to be breathing
