paint stain on a cat!!! help
When l was paintingmy letterbox using an aerosol,l accidentally sprayed the
fluorescent paint on a cat!!!!! l have no intention to spray on the
cat, because the cat was hidding ina bunch of bush, andthe letterbox was
hanging on the bushes for me to spray it. Originally it was a white cat
and now IT WAS A FLUORESCENT PURPLE CAT. However this is not my cat. SO
anyway to remove the paint?
Buy a package of ham & rub the cat down with a slice on a daily
basis until the paint is gone. The 'ham bath' is also useful for 'parking'
an overly affectionate cat.
You might also want to paint ur mailbox a different color if you don't
want ur neighbor to put two & two together & come knocking at ur door with
the ASPCA in tow.
Finally, who paints their mailbox fluorescent purple? You may as well put a sign out in ur yard inviting every 16 year old with a car & a baseball bat to pay you a late night visit.
Well. i was going to suggest if the paint is quite thick the
best thing to do is to cut that section off, just that bit of fur. This
stops the fur from possible matting & or any chemicals coming into contact
when the cat washes itself.
However if its from a spray? im guessing its probably only a thin coat on
you cat. so i'd probably just leave it untill it grows out or malts.
Either way its owners will probably look after it just as well. Cleaning the cat is a bad idea most cats Hate water, it agrivates them, distresses them, makes the situation worse not to mention you could end up with a nasty scratch. Cats clean themselfs & they do it incredibly well so i wouldnt worry about it.
i think you should clean the cat.
i had a cat once and we oftenly take him to have a bath. he hates water.
he scratches..
you should ask for a help so you will be able to wash it properly, like
someone to hold him to prevent the cat from scratching. use a lot of
shampoo and scrub it properly..
but if it doesn't work.. cats usually shed it is fur so don't worry. :) it will be fine.. but please don't do it again.. just be careful..
ha ha reading that made my day. i'm not for animal cruelty but
it was accidental and halarious!
i dont think there is much you can do cos you would need like a strong
spirit o get the stain out but its a cat so dont use any!!!
so i prob say just leave it cos it should grow out cos cats malt a lot so
make sure noone sees the colourof the letter box!!
cut its hair off
You might try some of the same trick that are used to get paint
out of human hair. In general if it is an water based paint, using a whole
lot of shampoo and massage it in, using a fine tooth comb (or flea comb)
to remove the paint. For oil based paint, use olive oil, and do the same
method.
You might try washing the cat with a grease cutting dish detergent after the olive oil step. Best of luck!
Go wash it. Duh. Even a 11 year old knows that. Like me.
Most cats don't like water but, you must get the stain off! Get a friend
to help you out. One of you old the cat is head GENTLY so it won't bite
you and hold its paws. Then, you scrub. Drying is easy peasy. Hair dryer
is good but no HOT, use cool. Ctas don't like being burned either.
Nope. Just gonna have to let it take care of it self. The cats
hair will probably fall out, but kitty will be fine.
Dont use chemicals on cat it can hurt it.
my nephews painted out cat when they were younger and where the paint
was, all his hair fell out, but it grew back and he was fine
