Buy a package of ham & rub the cat down with a slice on a daily

basis until the paint is gone. The 'ham bath' is also useful for 'parking'

Finally, who paints their mailbox fluorescent purple? You may as well put
a sign out in ur yard inviting every 16 year old with a car & a baseball
bat to pay you a late night visit.

Well. i was going to suggest if the paint is quite thick the
Snuggley bear
best thing to do is to cut that section off, just that bit of fur. This

However if its from a spray? im guessing its probably only a thin coat on

you cat. so i'd probably just leave it untill it grows out or malts.
Either way its owners will probably look after it just as well. Cleaning
the cat is a bad idea most cats Hate water, it agrivates them, distresses
them, makes the situation worse not to mention you could end up with a
nasty scratch. Cats clean themselfs & they do it incredibly well so i
wouldnt worry about it.

You might try some of the same trick that are used to get paint

out of human hair. In general if it is an water based paint, using a whole

lot of shampoo and massage it in, using a fine tooth comb (or flea comb)

You might try washing the cat with a grease cutting dish detergent after
the olive oil step. Best of luck!
